Make an imaginative painting on rush hour.
Observation
The question was attempted by just few candidates. In their compositions were evidences of poor figures and objects drawing. Both proportions and perspective suffered for lack of proper use. The candidates performed fairly. The candidates were expected to answer in the following way:
A. DRAWING
(i) Effective drawing of figures and objects depicting a rush hour setting.
(ii) Emphasis on use of perspective and proportions with appropriate background.
B. COMPOSITION
(i) Suitable arrangement of figures and objects to achieve balance,
rhythm, variety etc.
(ii) Judicious use of space provided.
(iii) Should be able to produce a balanced painting.
C. COLOUR
(i) Choice of harmonious and contrasting colours.
(ii) Proper use of tonal range and texture.
(iii) Effective mixing, application and distribution of colours.
D. INTERPRETATION
(i) Appropriate visual representation of the theme: The rush hour.
E. ORIGINALITY
Personalized style in the composition and overall effect.
