Candidates were required to make through dovetail or bridle joint.  Most candidates did well in this part of the question.  They were able to make the joint.
Each candidate’s final workpiece was to have two tails/pins (4 pitches, 4 sides, and 4 shoulders) and two sockets (4 sides, 2 bottoms and fitness of joints).
