(a)        A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

Many candidates were unable to interpret the drawing.  Also, most candidates failed to prepare the materials to the given specifications. 

(b)        SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR  OVERCOMING  THESE  WEAKNESSES

To overcome these weaknesses, candidates should be taught on:

1. how to interpret drawings;
2. the need to prepare the materials to the given specifications. 

 

Also, students should be taken to standard Woodwork shops and sites.
