    • Explain the rating of a battery capacity as 80 amperes/hours at 10 hours.

OBSERVATION

This questions attracted nearly all the candidates who sat for the examination. Part (c) of the question was the only part that proved difficult to the candidates.
The required response to part (c) of the question is:
It means that the battery must be able to supply a steady current of 8 ampers for at least 10 hours before its cell falls below a range of 1.5 to 1.8 volts.
