The following weaknesses were observed from some candidates works:
- poor sketches.
- inability to state the stages involved in fixing a door frame to a sandcrete blockwall.
- confusion of the functions of building components.
To overcome these weaknesses, candidates should be taught on the use of sketches in illustrating building processes. Also, candidates should be exposed to practical aspect of building construction and visit construction sites.
