Observation

This was another unpopular question, answered badly by the candidates.  They failed to explain why Isaiah described their rituals as worthless and corrupt.

They were unable to mention essential points like:

(I) Isaiah called on the people to listen to his teaching and commandments of God.
(II) He said their rituals, sacrifices and burnt offerings were of no good to God.
(III) Their Sabbaths, new moons and other festivals were not pleasing to God any longer.
(IV) God no longer answer their prayers.

However, they were able to score some marks in part (b) where they mentioned similar situations in Isaiah’s day as we have them today in our society.
