The diagram below illustrates the demand for and supply of cashew nuts. Use the diagram to answer the questions that follow: ((a) What is the percentage increase in the working population between 1955 and 1960? (b) Calculate the ratio of dependent population to the working population in (i) 1955: (ii) 1960. (c) Present the information in the table on a component bar chart.

Observation
A good number of candidates attempted this question. However, most of them drew the wrong bar chart for the (c) part of the question. On the whole, the general performance of candidates in this question was average.
