Candidates responded to all the questions within their capabilities. Majority of the candidates that responded to Question 1 did very well demonstrating thorough understanding of the pentode’s configuration and its relative merits and demerits.

Some candidates did fairly well in their answers to Questions 2 and 3 on d.c. circuit and feedback respectively.
