Most candidates attempted this question.  The candidates who attempted the question did not restrict their answers to Anglophone Africa for the (a) part.  They were supposed to list Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone,
The Gambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, etc, but instead they included Franco - phone countries and thereby scored low marks.

Moreover, in the (b) part, the candidates did not do justice to the question.  They were expected to highlight the following points:

1. Nigeria was among the nations that fought and defeated Apartheid Policy;
2. She was the first African nation to host the Commonwealth conference;
3. She has served on important Commonwealth Missions;
4. She has participated in Commonwealth games, etc.
