The play showed the meaningless of life to the blacks in South Africa through the characters in the play. The system denies them of enjoying a united family life while struggling to meet their needs. There is an unequal segregation law in social and education system and the issue of passbook that constantly eroded and dehumanized Africans. There is an unequal development between the black and white settlements and there is constant raid by the police which creates permanent fear among the blacks and enforces them to keep off from social benefits.
