Candidates were required to make two pinning joints. Majority of the candidates were able to identify the joints. However, the cutting and chiselling out of waste were poorly done. Each candidate’s final work piece was to have 4 pins (8 sides and 6 shoulders) and 4 sockets (8 sides, 8 ends and fitness of two joints).
