Candidates were asked to discuss the place of dowry-paying, ritual/ceremony in the process of a Yoruba traditional wedding. Most candidates failed to discuss this ritual/ceremony properly because they mixed it up with modern ‘engagement’ ceremonies often lumped together with modern wedding ceremonies.
