The standard of the paper  was high and compared favourably with those of previous  years. The 
                          questions were unambiguous and within the scope of the  syllabus. While the marking scheme was 
                          exhaustive and flexible, the performance of the candidates was slightly poorer than that of the 
                          previous year with a mean score of 18 and a standard deviation of 08.06 compared with a raw 
                          mean score of21 and a standard deviation of 08.54 for the Nov/Dec. 2009 WASSCE.
