The standard of the paper compared satisfactorily with those of the previous years. The rubrics were clear; the questions were also explicit and within the scope of the Syllabus and the Marking Scheme covered all essential skills. There were cases of exceptional performances and candidates’ overall performance showed a marginal improvement over those of the previous years.
