According to the reports received from the Chief Examiners and Team Leaders, there was an improvement in the candidates' performance when compared with those of previous years. However, there is room for improvement if appropriate measures are taken to address the candidates' weaknesses. The State Ministries of Education should always recruit qualified teachers to teach Hausa. The teachers should always advise the candidates to improve on their attitudes towards learning for a better performance.
