Question 4
Write Suratut-Takdthur (Q102) preferably in Arabic or transliteration and comment on its teachings
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Observation

The Surah (Q102) was required to be written preferably in Arabic or transliteration and commented upon. It became evident from the frame of the question that preference was given to Arabic over transliteration and therefore would attract more marks than transliteration. However, the preference was ignored by majority of the candidates who answered the question in transliteration. In the course of transliteration, they disregarded the standard style of transliteration and therefore scored very low. More so, many candidates could not commendably comment on the teachings of the chapter. Despite that, candidates' performance was still fair.
