Candidates were concentrating their efforts on how Moses stayed in Pharaoh’s house and stated that it was there he probably learnt how to fight. In some other instances, they pointed out his encounter with God on Mount Sinai. Candidates need to be aware that the preparation for the leadership role of Moses was the entire experience he had from his childhood till when he died. To this end, in answering the ways Moses was prepared for leadership roles, candidates were expected to list the following points.

1. Royal upbringing gave him advantage of good education.
2. Familiarization with the machinery of government/administration in Egypt.
3. Appreciation of the sufferings of his people.
4. Patriotism and love for his people.
5. Being conversant with the culture of his people.
