Generally, question 2 was not widespread among the candidates. In 2a, candidates were required to name the napkin folds illustrated in the diagram labelled I-IV and majority of candidates answered correctly. For 2b and 2c, candidates were not able to list the items required for polishing glassware and the equipment used in gueridon services. Majority of the candidates were unable to list bowl of boiling water as one of the items required for polishing glassware while the only item that some candidates were able to mention correctly was dry towel. From the various wrong responses given by candidates, it was obvious that they knew little or nothing about gueridon service. The topic covered in question 2 seemed not to have been fully covered by the teachers or the students have not really comprehended the topic, this was obvious in the wrong responses given by the candidates.
