Across all marking venues, question 3 was sparsely attempted by candidates and those that attempted it performed woefully. The question required candidates to list, explain and give examples of types of customers in catering industries. Although the topic is part of the fundamentals of catering industries and the question was clearly stated, candidates could not answer. This is a reflection of their poor knowledge of the technical aspect of the subject.
