The standard of the paper was good and compared favourably with those of previous
years. The rubrics were clear, concise and unambiguous. The questions achieved a wide
coverage of the examination syllabus and were well structured. The marking scheme was
flexible and fair to the candidates.
Considering the raw mean score of 36 and standard deviation of 16.52, the performance
of candidates was better than that of May/June 2009 WASSCE with raw mean score of
35 and standard deviation of 15.65.
