General Comments

The standard of the paper was high and compared favourably with those of previous years. The rubrics were clear, and within the scope of the examination syllabus. The marking scheme was fair to all candidates. The raw mean score of 26 and standard deviation of 8.37 showed that the performance of the candidates was better than school candidates 2016 with a mean score of 25 and standard deviation of 7.81.
