CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES AND SUGGESTED REMEDIES
The candidates weaknesses associated with performance include:
- cancellation and manipulation of titre values;

The following remedies were however suggested. Candidates should:
- candidates should be exposed to practical work early in their formative years;

- teachers should prepare candidates adequately for the examinations;;
- candidates should be taught how to record correct inferences showing the correct charges on ions;
candidates should understand the demands of questions before responding to them.
