A. WAYS BY WHICH HIV/AIDS CAN BE CONTRACTED
- Through transfusion of HIV infected blood to a non-infected person/transfusion of unscreened blood
 - Through unprotected sex with HIV/AIDS infected person
 - Through the sharing of syringe and needle or other piercing and cutting objects between an infected and a non-infected person
 - Mother to child transmission during pregnancy/delivery or breastfeeding
 - Kissing an infected person with mouth sore/wound
 - Unfaithfulness to one’s partner/multiple sex partners/promiscuity
 - Cultural/religious practices that involve exchange of blood e.g. oath taking/covenant
 - Exposure to infected body fluids
