Observation

This aspect tests candidates’ ability to read and understand a given text. The information required for answering content questions correctly was very clear in the passage. There was a significant improvement in this section as majority of the candidates could relate with the content of the passage. However, some candidates did poorly as they failed to demonstrate an understanding of the passage. Some candidates lifted portions of the passage mindlessly and gave them as answers while some inter-changed the answers for Questions 6(a) and 6(b).
