The candidate is required to write a letter to the Chairman of the Environmental Protection Agency on the effects of illegal felling of trees.

A few candidates chose this question. Some of them discussed the effects of tree felling on the communities, deforestation it has caused, the effect on animals/habitats in the forest among others. However, some wrote of falling trees instead of felling of trees while others failed to refer to the Chairman and even seek his help. Some candidates were unable to use the appropriate format for a formal letter.
