Observation

Candidates were asked to write a story ending with the statement: We buried the hatchet and became friends again. This was quite a popular question and candidates came up with meaningful stories. However, a few of them interpreted the statement literally and some who wrote relevant stories did not end the story with the statement as demanded by the question. However, candidates should be taught that in storytelling, the tense used should be the past.
