General Comments
The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straightforward and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible and the rubrics were clear.
The performance of the candidates was fairly better than the previous year with a population of 40,338 and a raw mean score of 36.0 and standard deviation of 14.07 against the WASSCE for School Candidates 2022 which had a population of 45,435 with a raw mean score of 36.0 and standard deviation of 14.11.
