(b) explain the distribution network of products
(c)State two features of a misbranded product
OBSERVATION
In question 2 (a) candidates correctly stated the meaning of consumer education as the process of enlightening the public on their rights and responsibilities concerning the purchase and use of goods and services. Also, they were able to explain the distribution network of products to include manufacturer, wholesaler, retailer and consumer.
However, candidates were a bit confused about 2 (c) where they were to state two features of a misbranded product, many of them could not state correct features but some of them were able to state some correct features such as: product would be wrongly labelled, name and address of manufacturer would not be indicated, ingredients / constituents may not be listed, product would not meet standard of production.
