Conclusion

The Chief Examiners’ and Team Leaders’ reports showed that the performance of candidates was better than that of the previous year. However, there is still room for improvement if appropriate measures are taken as regards the candidates’ weaknesses. To achieve this, Government should make the texts available to both teachers and students. Qualified teachers should be employed to teach Hausa in the secondary schools. The teachers should also enjoin the candidates to improve on their attitude to learning for better performance
