This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was poor. In part(a) many candidates could not correctly define mental health, candidates wrote a state of physical, social, mental and emotional well-being instead of well-being of an individual living comfortably with oneself and others. In part (b) many candidates could not correctly state negative emotional feelings exhibited by a child, candidates wrote crying, abuse, stubbornness, thumb sucking and bed wetting as negative emotional feelings exhibited by a child. In part (c) candidates correctly stated characteristics of a mentally healthy person.
