1. GENERAL COMMENTS ON THE PAPER AS A WHOLE

                The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years.  The 
                questions were straight forward, clearly itemized and covered wide range of the
                syllabus.   The marking scheme was flexible and comprehensive.

The performance of the candidates was poor than that of the previous year with candidates population of 3, 795 had a raw mean score of 12 and a standard deviation of 05.48 as against a raw mean score of 28 and a standard deviation of 07.94 of the November/December 2011 WASSCE with candidates population of 3, 506.
