Many candidates attempted this question with varying range of marks. Candidates generally had problems with stating the sequential steps in urea formation and this led to loss of vital marks.

The expected answers are:

      Transportation of urea in humans     
Urea is formed in the liver; and transported as a solution in the plasma/blood stream; to the kidneys; through the renal artery. It is forced into the glomerulus and the Bowman’s capsule. It then passes through the ureter to the urinary bladder; from where it is transported through the urethra to outside in urine.
