Observation

This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was poor.  In part(a) candidates wrongly mentioned ear trumpet, ear horn, crochet, hearing aid, sound box, screening light, head phone.

In part (b)(i) only few candidates correctly explained artificial insemination and in (a)(ii) candidates wrongly explained test tube baby as tube for baby babies which is used for them after birth to test their blood temperature while some candidates also explained artificial insemination as when a woman cannot give birth so they put sperm in her womb.

In part (c) candidates could not correctly state ways of preventing atherosclerosis

-           and implanted in the same or another woman’s uterus.                                                       
(c)        WAYS OF PREVENTING ATHEROSCLEROSIS
-              eat low fat food/avoid eating fatty food
-              reduce high calorie food intake
-              exercise regularly / regular exercise
-           avoid smoking/tobacco
