This question, the candidates were to:

1. define energy management as the process of planning and controlling the use of energy in order to prevent it but they lose marks because they wrote it is the management of energy in order to conserve it.
2. state reason for energy management. Majority of the candidates answered correctly.
3. mention guidelines for work simplification. All the candidates performed woefully, many of them gave reasons for work simplification rather than use both hands at work and divide motion between them as equal as possible, store frequently use items out of place of first use, use labour saving device or equipment. 

This was well attempted but candidates performed woefully in part (a & c) and (b) part they responded very well.
