Question 1
Describe the performance of Ṣalatuṣ-Ṣubḥi.
Observation
This was a compulsory question answered by the majority of or almost all the candidates. The question was a practical test on how the early morning obligatory prayer (Ṣubḥi)is observed. The candidates in their majority accurately and impressively answered the question except for a few of them who could not give details of the required recitations during certain postures. Series of postures expected to be described in the two-genuflection prayer include standing (Qiyām), bending (Rukū‘) prostration (Sujūd) and sitting (Julūs).
