The poet:
(i) blames man for his misplace belief in astrologers;
(ii) blames man for his failure to appreciate God’s love for him;
(iii) castigates man for putting his trust on worthless astrologers, instead of in
God;
(iv) chides man for his short-sightedness and lack of belief in the power of God over his life;
(v) is surprised at man’s forgetfulness that he can work himself to glory through hard work;
(vi) is worried about man’s fear of facts of life like affliction, sickness and death.
