This was a popular question among the candidates. The forging of the anvil and the hammer to accommodate each other to form a new Africa is left out entirely.
Candidates were expected to discuss the following points:
- Relation to the theme.
- The African dilemma.
- Anvil and the Hammer connoting the violence of a new birth.
- The product of forging; imperfect Africa.
- The prospect of the New Africa.
- Uneasiness of the process of accommodation.
Candidates’ performance was poor.
