A correct answer should contain a discussion on:

• The themes of colonial domination and exploitation, internal conflicts, greed and the quest for power.
• The practice of polygamy in the case of Gnaya; and the sacredness of marriage portrayed in the adjudication of Jilo and Lansana affair.
• The concept of inheritance of rulership which is reserved for men.

• Music and dance and their significance.
• The “Poro” cult and its importance.
• Women as sex objects as portrayed in the character of Yoko ad Jilo
• Superstition and divination.
• The use of proverbs.

The candidates’ performance was good.
