Candidates were required to design a jewel box with a lockable lid, making two different preliminary sketches and to give the front elevation and sectional end elevation of one of them.

    Many  candidates did not attempt this section. It appears the drawing papers for this  section was not provided. Two candidates who attempted to answer the questions  used improvised paper. Some candidates attempted to answer on the question  paper which was grossly inadequate.
