Observation

The question required from the candidates the ability to see clearly and to be able to interpret visually objects/subjects in a photograph. The candidates performed well in this question. Candidates were expected to provide the following answers to the question:

-           Flower/ornamental plant/plant;
-           flower vase/flower pot;

-           costumes/clothe/clothing;

-           concrete ground;
-           wristband/bangle/wrist watches/bracelets;
-           beads.
(b)        The action in the photograph is a cultural/traditional dance with some spectators/audience/viewers/people watching.             

(c)        The centre of interest in the photograph is the dancers.      

(d)       -           The two dancers are in/wearing elaborate traditional costumes.
-           They are both wearing beads/wrist band/bangles on their left hands.
-           Both of them have handkerchiefs in their hands.
-           Both of them are wearing caps on their heads.
-           Both dancers are bare footed.
