(d)State the five steps taken when copying image files from a memory card and storing the images in a computer.
Observation
The question required from the candidates the knowledge of digital photography processing and the ability to present the procedure in a logical order. The candidates’ performance was good. The candidates were expected to write the following points as answers to the question:
- Storage devices in digital photography are equipment or devices where data/images can be kept for retrieval purposes. It can be both virtual and physical.

(d) (i) Switch/put on the computer.
(ii) Slot the memory card into the memory card port of the computer/into a card reader connected to the computer/connect the camera to the computer.
(iii) Click on the memory card icon on the computer interface to access the memory card.
(iv) Create a folder on the desktop or pictures or document folder of the computer.
(v) Highlight the files to be copied in the memory card and copy.
(vi) Paste the copied files in the folder created.
(vii) Eject the card reader/shut down the computer/disconnect the card reader from the computer
