The candidates answered the question poorly showing a lack of knowledge of photo-editing. The candidates were expected to provide the following answers in order to score good marks:
(a) - Photo editing is a process of digitally manipulating/processing an image or enhancing/beautifying the outlook of a photographic image.
- With photo editing a new image can be created in the process.
- It is sometimes called photo manipulation.
- Photo editing could also refer to image selection exercise from several shots to achieve a thematic unity when story telling is the photographer’s aim.
