Observation

This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was good. In part (a) some of the candidates correctly states lines found in the basketball court. In part (b) few candidates were able to answer it correctly.  In part (c) majority of the candidates listed correctly materials needed by the court referee in a game of handball.
The expected answers are as follow:

-           side line /throw-in
-           base line/end line

            (b)        INSTANCES WHEN THE REFEREE SIGNALS TIME-OUT
                         IN A BASKETBALL GAME

 -          violation of rules by the players
-           if a foul is committed by a player
-           when a jump ball is to be taken
-           an unusual delay in getting a dead ball into play
-           a suspension of play for serious injury
-           removal of a disqualified player
-           when a team/coach calls for time out

(c)        MATERIALS NEEDED BY THE COURT REFEREE IN A
 GAME OF HANDBALL

-           stopwatch/wrist watch
-           yellow card
-           red card
