Weakness and Remedies
Candidates’ weaknesses included their inability to:
- name the major muscle involved in extension of the knee, forearm, flexion of the knee and flexion of the forearm;
- give five differences between Spartan Physical Education and Athenian Physical Education;
- to state four differences between a major game and a minor game;
- to write legibly.
The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:
- familiarization of candidates with the syllabus;
- coverage of the teaching syllabus before examination commences;
- candidates should understand the demands of the questions before responding to them;
- write legibly when responding to questions.
