Process: Candidate using the crouch start go through the commands of on your mark, Set and Go, running form and finish as fast as possible.

All performances should be judged according to the following rubrics.
On your Mark
- assume a crouch position
(ii) feet and hands are behind the scratch line
(iii) hands placed on ground shoulder width apart
(iv) head is dropped
(v) knee of the rear leg in contact with the ground
Set and Go
(i) rock body forward
(ii) raise the buttocks / hips up
(iii) rear leg is stretched / extended with a slight bent at the knee
(iv) head slightly raised
(v) remain still / motionless
Running form
(i) high knee raised
(ii) full extension of the legs
(iii) maintain uniform stride
(iv) body tilts inward at the bend / curve
(v) proper swing of the arms
Finish
(i) maintain speed up to finish
(ii) chest / torso out / dip at finish
(iii) keep head forward
(iv) maintain balance
(v) whole body crosses the finish line
