Skillfully demonstrates approach, hand placement, take-off, leg position and landing in the performance of a through vault. Three trials are allowed. [10 marks]

The expected answers are as follows:
Activity 8: Through Vault
1. The activity will be on the basis of Process Evaluation only.
2. Three trials are allowed and the best trial is recorded as the score.
3. Performances will be judged according to the following rubrics:
(a) Approach – short run towards the direction of the apparatus
(b) Hand placement – place the hands on the apparatus shoulder, width apart
(c) Take off – Take off on both feet, not too close / far from the apparatus
(d) Leg position- Bring legs together, bent at the knee, legs go through the hands
(e) Landing – Land on the balls of the feet
Knees are bent / give in while landing
