1.         The following materials have been provided for this exercise:

(a)        one 1200 mm length of 19 mm PVC pressure pipe;
(b)        one 1200 mm length of 19 mm galvanized iron pipe;
(c)        two 19 mm galvanized iron Tees;
(d)       two 19 mm PVC Tees;
(e)        one 19 mm galvanized iron elbow;
(f)        one 19 mm PVC elbow;
(g)        one 19 mm PVC to iron union connector;
(h)        one 19 mm brass tap;
(i)         one tin of adhesive paste;
(j)         two tie-on labels.

Using a push fit pipe jointing technique, thread, cut and fix a length of 19 mm PVC and galvanized iron pipe as shown in Fig. 1.
