• Candidates’ performance was fairly okay. Most of the candidates were able to answer question 2a correctly.
• Part (b) of the question was poorly attempted by the candidates. The following are some of the required answers.

• It undertakes the registration of food, drugs, cosmetics, package water, medical devices and chemicals
• It conducts appropriate tests and ensure compliance with standard specification
• It undertakes appropriate investigation of production premises and raw materials for all type of product
• It undertakes inspection of imported goods
• It establishes and maintain relevant laboratories in strategic areas in Nigeria
• It carries out any other activities that are necessary or expedient for the performance of its functions.
