Weakness and Remedies

Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to
-           sketch objects correctly and neatly;
-           state causes of weld defects;
-           state differences between cold and hot forging processes.

SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES
In order to overcome the weaknesses, it was suggested that candidates should have regular practical classes before taking the examination, as this would help develop their ability to explain, describe and make good sketches.
