OBSERVATION
This question was well attempted by the candidates. In 1(a)(i-iv), majority of the candidates were able to state the aim of the experiment; state what would happen to the lime water in the conical flasks at the end of the experiment; give reason for their answers in 1(a)(ii) above and state the ways by which the soil component considered in the experiment (soil living organism) is important. Further to this, majority of the candidates were able to name the parts of diagrams A(watering can) and B(hand trowel) and suggest ways of maintaining farm tools as required in 1(b)(1-ii).
